Meat and pasta are prepared faster in Instant Pot using the classic, easy-to-use 5-component Granny formula, but they can also be made using a cylinder head or stove.
This is the best easy dinner recipe for creamy mushroom sauce. Classic beef and pasta are a great option for a busy weekend dinner, a meal your whole family loves!
- 1 cup beef broth
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tbsp onion dip mix
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pound beef stew meat cut into one inch pieces
- 22 ounces cream of mushroom soup two 11-ounce boxes from Trader Joe’s recommended
- Add olive oil to pressure cooker pot and set to saute function. Divide meat in half and brown the first half, turning only once. Remove from pot and set on plate. Brown second half of meat.
- To serve, top egg noodles with beef and mushroom mixture.
- When meat is cooking, cook egg noodles in salted boiling water to al dente doneness, drain, and set aside.
- Close lid and set to high pressure for 15 minutes. When done, allow to release naturally.
- Add first batch of meat back to the pressure cooker along with any juices that may have accumulated on the plate. Add cream of mushroom soup, onion dip mix, and beef broth. Stir to mix.
To cook on stove:
Brown meat in heavy bottom pot over medium high heat using same procedure. Once all ingredients have been added to pot, cover and allow to braise at a simmer for at least an hour.
To cook in slow cooker:
Brown meat in heavy bottom pot over medium high heat using same procedure. Transfer to slow cooker with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4-6 hours.

The classic grandma recipe of grandma monkey has always been a favorite of our family, so I think it is better to share more classic grandma recipes! This recipe is similar to a classic beef salad dressing, which combines tender meat and delicious mushroom sauce on pasta, but it’s different at the same time.
Grandma and classic beef are one of my favorite foods for comfort. The meat was incredible and full of flavor. The mushroom beef broth is exactly what this pasta needs. I just don’t like having this simple dinner, but I’d also like to add some extra lunch to my child’s lupine the next day!
How do you make beef and noodles tender?
If the meat is not tender, then this dish is very bad. I bought a box of cooked beef directly from a turkey seller in the farmers’ market. This eliminated all guess work for me. This soup is cut into small pieces.
If you can’t get the soup, you want to use beef chops front or back. As long as you cut the meat into small pieces and remove most of the fat, any thin slices can be used (such as grilled meat, shoulder, corn, etc.).
Stew usually stews and needs to be cooked in liquid for a long time or cooked under pressure to make it tender. I will explain the different cooking methods below.
How do you make beef and noodles in the Instant Pot?
On the recipe card below, I explain in detail how to make beef and classic pasta in an autoclave. The process begins with the redness of the soup in the olive oil. After frying, add the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup and meat broth to the pressure cooker and slowly cook under high pressure for 15 minutes.
I highly recommend Creamy Mushroom Soup Portabella Trader Joe Soup. Every fall, I buy enough fall for a whole year, because this is a seasonal product. I also use it in my classic casserole casserole recipe. I also highly recommend making your own roast beef soup and storing it in a quarter sized container in the fridge. I always have some!
While cooking beef and broth, I will cook egg noodles. I prefer half cooking.
How to make crockpot beef and noodles:
If you want to cook beef and pasta in a slow cooker, you can follow the same recipe, but the process is a little different. You still need to brown the meat first, so unless you have additional fancy utensils, you should do so on the stove. Then, transfer the brown soup, mushroom soup, dip onion, and the beef broth cream in a slow cooker.
Set it up and forget about it. I recommend cooking this recipe in the frying pan for 6-8 hours, making it the perfect meal to prepare in the morning and allow you to go home after work to enjoy. Don’t worry, the noodles only take a few minutes!
How to make beef and noodles on the stove top:
Again, as shown below. You will use a heavy bottom Dutch oven with a lid. Peel the soup first, then peel it. Then add the mushroom soup, dip the onion, and the cream of beef soup, then heat it until it boils well, then reduce the heat to a minimum to keep it light. I will cook for at least an hour, but you can cook on the stove for up to 3-5 hours.
As long as calories are rejected, you can’t really beat things like cooking beef and pasta.
