These mocha bombs fat chocolate are so delicious! They are more like candy than a bomb. But with only 13 grams of fat and only 1 gram of protein and zero carbs, you can play a dual role!
These are super easy Keto fat bombs without baking, and super easy to make delicious!

Why keto fat bombs?
The ketogenic diet consists of lots of fats, moderate protein and low carbs, so most of our calories come from healthy fats. If we don’t consume enough healthy fats, we risk eating a protein-rich diet instead of Keto!

Some people are confused by this concept because we have been telling for many years that fats are harmful, so we should eat less or less fat. There is nothing far from the truth!

These can include butter, thick cream, coconut oil, coconut, avocado, avocado oil, scrabbons, olive oil, and cream cheese, among others. For a more comprehensive list of these foods, see the Keto menu! For different ideas on how to use it, check out 15 ways to add more fat to your keto diet.

Adding these healthy fats to our meals is essential, but sometimes they don’t eat enough or they are just not right for the special meal you prepare. Fat bombs are perfect for times like this where you can eat one or two fats and get healthy fats in macros! Most recipes are very good and can be frozen in most cases, so you can buy some at any time!

Another benefit of most fat bombs is that they double as sweet candy, but this does not get you out of ketosis! Who does not like to eat sweets without making whole cookies, pies or batches of cake?

The ketogenic diet consists of lots of fats, moderate protein and low carbs, so most of our calories come from healthy fats. If we don’t consume enough healthy fats, we risk eating a protein-rich diet instead of Keto!

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup grass-fed butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp coffee extract
  • Dark chocolate sugar-free, I use Lily’s, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mascarpone cheese at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup Swerve confectioners or powdered erythritol – see notes
  • 1/4 cup organic coconut oil melted

Instructions

  1. Add the mascarpone cheese, coconut oil and butter to a bowl and using a hand mixer or whisk.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, Swerve and coffee extract, mix until well combined.
  3. Add to  mini muffin silicone liners (or ice cube trays) and add chopped chocolate on top.  Press the chocolate down gently with your fingers.  Freeze for 20 minutes to set.  Store in fridge or freezer.

Notes

These are sweet and they are meant to be almost like candy.  If you don’t want them that sweet, cut the swerve down to 2-3 tablespoons instead.
